Dr. Jeffrey J. Riepe

Chief Executive Officer, Move Lab

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Board Certified Athletic Trainer

Dr. Riepe is a distinguished expert and thought leader at the intersection of sports science, rehabilitation, and human performance. With a specialized focus on advanced biomechanical analysis, he has successfully enhanced performance and accelerated recovery for elite athletes and active individuals through precision-driven care. As a dual board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Athletic Trainer (ATC), Dr. Riepe uniquely bridges clinical rehabilitation with high-performance training and sports science to deliver comprehensive, results-oriented care.

Dr. Riepe earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, consistently ranked among the nation’s top programs. He further refined his expertise through a Fellowship in Clinical & Sports Biomechanics at the Movement Performance Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Powers. His extensive experience in elite sports medicine includes working with the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams, a variety of collegiate athletic programs, and the EXOS NFL Combine Training Program, where he contributed to the success of several top draft prospects. Dr. Riepe’s specialization in advanced movement analysis integrates state-of-the-art technologies, including 2D and 3D high-speed motion capture, force plate analysis, and wireless electromyography (EMG). These tools enable him to precisely identify movement inefficiencies, optimize athletic performance, and deliver targeted treatments for a wide range of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions.

Outside of patient care and hands-on work with athletes, Dr. Riepe is an actively engaged member of the academic community, serving on advisory boards for both West Coast University and Southern California University of Health Sciences. His involvement reflects his commitment to advancing education and bridging the gap between academia and clinical practice. Dr. Riepe is also a thought leader in rehabilitation and sports science innovation. He collaborates with other renowned experts at institutions such as the USC Jimmy Iovine and Young Center for Innovation, fostering the development of cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of health and technology. Dr. Dustin Willis

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist

Consultant Physical Therapist, LA Lakers

Dr. Dustin Willis is a highly accomplished performance physiotherapist with extensive expertise in rehabilitation, performance optimization, and education. As a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), Dr. Willis has established himself as an expert in helping individuals—from professional athletes to active adults—return to their passions through innovative, personalized care.

Dr. Willis holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Human Performance from California Lutheran University, where he first discovered his love for biomechanics and human movement. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Loma Linda University in 2014, graduating with honors including the Dean’s Award, Clinical Excellence Award, and the Fred B. Moore Mission Service Award. His postgraduate training includes an Orthopaedic Residency at Rancho Physical Therapy and two prestigious fellowships: the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Sports and Manual Therapy Fellowship and the Lower Extremity Biomechanics Fellowship at the Movement Performance Institute. He further honed his expertise by completing the Azusa Pacific University Movement Performance Fellowship, focusing on Movement Systems Impairments (MSI) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS).

Dr. Willis’s clinical work reflects a passion for blending advanced science with human connection. He has earned a number of specialized certifications, including Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS), Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS), and EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS). Currently, he is completing his PhD dissertation, which explores the psycho-neuro-endocrine-immunologic mechanisms underlying the transformative power of compassionate care in healthcare. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Willis is deeply committed to education. He spent over five years as a faculty member at West Coast University, where he taught musculoskeletal physical therapy and introduced students to the dynamic intricacies of human interaction, communication, and relationships within the professional healthcare setting through his Sociocultural Aspects of Human Interaction course. He continues to inspire future clinicians with his holistic approach to patient care.

Dr. Willis’s professional roles include serving as a Consultant Physical Therapist for the Los Angeles Lakers, treating elite athletes through Quantum Performance, and working with Move Lab to enhance athletic performance and recovery.
